PARKING

At Sportcentrum Ookmeer’s parking lot has plenty of space to park your vehicle.

Warm-up

there is limited space for warming up in the indoor track: this is reserved for test starts and screen passages. There is no room for 'trotting' there.
The nearby AAC track is available from 5 pm, there will be starting blocks and Hurdles. The track can be used during a break.

• Women will start at 1.40 with increases of 5cm til 1.60 and 3cm from there.
• Men will start at 1.50 with increases of 5cm till 1.80 and from there 3cm.

Free physio during EAP Indoor Amsterdam !

Feel a tense muscle during the Indoor Amsterdam? Get a free physio treatment on the spot. We have two professional physiotherapist to help you out.

Iris van Aken, physiotherapist and studying for a master’s degree in sports physiotherapy. In my work practice at FysiOK in The Hague and Zoetermeer, I treat a variety of patients, such as athletes and patients who start a revalidation after injury and surgery. In recent years I have been working as a physiotherapist at competitions such as the Dutch Athletics Championships and the Gouden Spike. I participated in competitions for years as an athlete myself.

Jamiro Elabeidi, physiotherapist and 60m & 100m sprinter. I work as a independent physiotherapist, currently working at Kolijn Fysiotherapie in Voorschoten (next to Leiden). As a competing athlete & physiotherapist, I have first hand experience with revalidation and sport-specific injuries. For screenings, diagnostics or treatment for any sort of pain, before, during, or after competition, feel free to visit.

2021:

Two classifications for the prizes with :

• Men’s and Women’s sprints and hurdles combined into one class and
• Men’s and Women’s technical events also combined into the second class.

Prizes will be awarded according to IAAF points, with first place in each classification receiving;

1. 15o€
2. 100€
3. 50€

The prize money for the sprinting-events will be decided on time run in the finals. There will be one final (6 athletes) at the 60m hurdles and two finals (12 athletes) at the 60m sprint, with the eventual winner can come both from the A and B-final.

Senior Meeting
The meeting will take place Saturday, January 25th, 2020 in Amsterdam with the following events for both men and women:
· Men: 60m sprint, 60m hurdles, High Jump, and Long Jump.

· For all events we also welcome Handisport/Para-sport athletes!

Cash prizes. There will be two classifications for the prizes with Men’s and Women’s sprints and hurdles combined into one class and Men’s and Women’s technical events also combined into the second class. Prizes will be awarded according to IAAF points, with first place in each classification receiving €150, 2nd place €100 and 3rd place €50.

There is no registration cost for international athletes and for EAP-athlethes meeting the standards we offer travel reimbursement and hotel accommodation.We will provide transport and food if you book your hotel through us.

Youth Meeting
There will also be a youth 60m sprint on Saturday morning, January 25th, 2020. The eligible ages for the youth competition is U16, that is, anyone with a birth year of 2005 or later.
Please contact us if any of your youth would like to come to Amsterdam! We can arrange homestays with Dutch families for them. Any youth who meet the EAP competition limits may also choose to compete as seniors on Saturday.

This year the EAP Indoor Amsterdam is back! Come and join us for jumping or sprinting at 25th January in the fast track in Amsterdam West. There will be four events: Long Jump, High Jump, 60m sprint and 60m Hurdles.

The meet is part of the EAP circuit, which means that athletes from EAP clubs get their stay, food and participation covered by the organisation. All other athletes will be welcome and can have their stay, food, travels from and to the warm-up track/meet/Airport, and participation in the meet organized.
