I Run Clean certifications
The EAP circuit shows the way to a clean, responsible and valuable practice of our sport.
From the beginning, the EAP has been built on the conviction that sport is only deserved by and for athletes of integrity. From the beginning, the EAP has been built on the conviction that a sporting performance only has value if it is achieved in a natural way, that is to say without cheating of any kind, starting from the use of doping products, but not only that.
We have always wanted to allow athletes to achieve a performance that is the fruit of the athlete's talent and work, without any other type of intervention.
Each athlete deserves their rightful place among clean athletes who respect the values of sport.
Since a few years, European Athletics created the "I Run Clean®" an E-Learning platform and a certification program.
We, at EAP adopted immediately this initiative and:
- All participants to all our meetings and events will have to infirm us about their IRC certification Status (done, not done, in progress)
- Each EAP athlete participating in our EAP events, is admitted only with a valid IRC certification
- Each EAP Team Delegate (accompanying coach or person) is admitted to other meetings or events only with a valid IRC certification
- Each EAP event organiser (member committee, EAP Delegate) is admitted only with a valid IRC certification: are requested minimum 3 certified members for a XL-event, 2 for a L event and at least 1 for a S/M event.
