The EAP has been informed today, Monday 14th January 2019, of the cancellation of the Aarhus meet, scheduled on June 5th 2019.
The meet will be back again next year.
Dear fellow EAP-members
It is with sadness that I have to announce that this year’s Aarhus Nordic Challenge has been cancelled.
Late in 2018 we were informed that our booking of the stadium had been cancelled to make room for a Phil Collins concert. Since then, we have been trying to find another date for the meet, but given the late point in time, the national meet calendar was already completely full. In a country such as Denmark, we really need to the support from the entire Danish athletics community in order to have a meeting such as ours. Therefore we have decided to cancel the 2019-edition of the meet, but we promise to be back in 2020. Instead, I look forward to seeing you all in Leiria for the next congress!
Best regards
Sebastian Skejø
Meeting director
AFLYSNING / CANCELLATION
🇬🇧 It is with sadness that we announce that this year's Aarhus Nordic Challenge has been cancelled. This is due to a Phil Collins concert, which has left us without a stadium on the planned date of the meet 🙁 We hope to see everyone again in 2020.
