Budapest Open is back with a great edition !

After two difficult years, related to the pandemic situation, Budapest Open showed the potential of this meeting.
In this year of World Championships in this magnificent City, many athletes achieved top level performances.

The 21 years old home sprinter Márk Pap (2002), clocked a SB in 10"38, while Kristóf Pap (1998) won the Long Jump with a probant 7,85 (w-0.1) to set a new PB.
Below the 80s in the javelin Throw where Norbert Rivasz-Tóth got the win with 77,59.
On the women's side, top hurdler Gréta Kerekes (1992) set a PB in the 100m with 11,56 but did not ran the final where the young talent  Boglárka Takács (2001) set a new impressive U23 and ABS national record for Hungary winning the final in 11,27 (+03). In the heats she had already shown how good she was delivering an easy a 11.32.
Back to the hurdles, Gréta Kerekes set another SB with 13,08, after running 13.32 in the heats 13,25
Petra Bánhidi-Farkas Beáta (1999) jumped a remarkable 6,60 SB !
