CUS Catania is preparing to organize an international competition again.

"La Cittadella" facilities will host the second "E.A.P." meeting called "Sicily World".
After the success of last year, a happening was then re-proposed able to catalyze the attention of top level athletes from different parts of the world. Among the first accessions a request was received for the participation of a very promising athlete.
This is Leon Reid (born in 1994) English by birth but naturalized Irish, already a finalist at the 2018 European Championships in Berlin at 200 meters (20.37).
The Briton will test his condition during the Etna race in view of the Doha "Diamond League" which will take place 7 days later.
"It is a pleasure to welcome an athlete of the Reid level to CUS Catania - declares Nuccio Leonardi, Head of Athletics section of the CUS CATANIA.
Moreover we are examining requests from athletes and athletes from all over the world who would like to prepare CUS for upcoming seasonal events given the conditions favorable climatic conditions and adequate plant engineering.
